# Insenia: Five questions. Every evening. You.

Answered with a slider or a tap, never typed, in about thirty seconds. Each evening becomes one colour. After two weeks the colours show which days weigh on you, and what your lighter days have in common.

Answer tonight’s five in the browser, no email: https://insenia.app/tonight.

- **Tonight: Five questions, about thirty seconds.** A slider or a tap, while you brush your teeth. Nothing to write, nothing to keep up.
- **In two weeks: Your days as colours.** Fourteen evenings side by side, lighter and heavier, against your own usual. The week gets a shape you could not see from inside it.
- **In a month: A sentence about you.** Which days weigh on you, what your lighter days have in common, how your nights and your evenings move together. Said only when it is true.

## The five questions, the way the app asks them.

Three sliders and two taps. At the end, the colour your evening would get on the Days list, and one honest sentence.

1. **All in all, how did today feel on the inside?** Heavy to Light.
2. **How full was your battery today?** Empty to Full.
3. **How connected were you today to the people who matter?** Alone in it to Connected.
4. **After what happened, how are you treating yourself tonight?** Hard on myself to Gently.
5. **What would you keep from today if you could keep only one thing?** A moment with someone, Something I finished, A feeling, A small comfort.

The three sliders open every evening in the app. The other two rotate with the date and, from the second evening, follow what you answered the night before.

## Each evening becomes one colour.

Lighter, usual or heavier, against your own usual, never a score. Alone, a dot says nothing. Fourteen of them side by side say what the week was actually like.

Two weeks on the Days list. The weekday is the thing to look at: for many people the heavier dots gather on the same day.

## When there is a pattern, it says so. When there is not, it stays quiet.

Every night the engine on your phone looks for patterns across your evenings, with strict checks against coincidence. A pattern that survives becomes a sentence without a number. Nothing else is said.

- *What weighs on you*: Days you work late tend to feel a little heavier.
- *Your bright-day recipe*: Your brightest days share a recipe: stepping away from work, time outdoors, and people around you.
- *Lately*: Energy has been rising for four evenings. Nothing to do with it. Just noted.

These are the shapes the app’s sentences take. Yours come from your evenings, after about two weeks, and only when they are true.

## Missed an evening? Nothing happens.

No streak breaks, because there is no streak. No red number, no “you missed a day”. The skipped evening simply is not on the list, and the next one is asked as if nothing happened. The day breaks at three in the morning, so a late night still counts as tonight.

- **One notification a day.** At the hour you choose. Never a second one. If you already answered, it is not sent at all.
- **No back button, no essay.** Each question is one screen. The first instinct is the honest one, and the whole thing is over before the kettle boils.
- **A day is data, not a verdict.** A two out of ten is recorded as a two. Nobody corrects it, nobody cheers it. It gets its meaning from the days around it.

## Your inner life should stay yours.

Insenia is built to know you well while holding almost nothing about you. Here is exactly what that means.

- **No email, no name.** Your identity is a key your phone holds. There is no profile to log into and nothing to reset.
- **Works without a network.** The ritual and the Days list run on the phone. No connection is needed to answer, and a lost one never costs you an evening.
- **What leaves the phone, and why.** A pseudonymous copy of your answers goes to a server in the EU, so that tomorrow’s questions can follow tonight’s. It is tied to a key, never to a name or an email. Voice notes are transcribed on the device; the recording never leaves it.
- **Export and delete in two taps.** Everything as JSON, whenever you like. Delete removes it from the phone and the server, permanently.
- **Health stays on the phone.** Optional sleep and steps are read on the device only, never sent anywhere, never a target to hit.
- **No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDK.** There is no advertising and no third-party analytics in the app. The product is the ritual, not you.

## Questions people ask

### Is it a journal?

No. There is nothing to write. Five questions, answered with a slider or a tap, and a short optional voice note when something happened. If you want to write pages, a journal is the better tool.

### Is it a mood tracker?

Closer, but the mood is one of six things it measures, with energy, connection, focus, body and meaning beside it. And the questions change every night instead of asking the same thing.

### Where do the questions come from?

From a bank written for the app and chosen each night for you: the three sliders every evening, then questions that follow what you answered before, and once or twice a week one from a different angle. You can read the whole library on this site.

### What happens if I skip an evening?

Nothing. No streak, no reminder about it, no gap drawn in red. The next evening is asked as usual.

### What do I get after two weeks?

The Days list has fourteen colours, and the engine on your phone starts looking for patterns across them. When it finds one that survives its checks, you get a sentence. When it does not, you get nothing, on purpose.

### Does it give advice?

No. It describes patterns, like “Thursdays have been heavier than the rest of the week”. What to do with that is yours. It is not therapy, not a diagnosis and not a chat.

### Do I need an account?

No. No email, no name, no password. Your phone holds a key; that is the account. Delete removes everything in two taps.

### What is free and what is paid?

The ritual, the Days list and the voice note are free forever. The deeper picture (the pattern engine, the weekly mirror, the monthly portrait) is €49.99 a year or €6.99 a month, with 7 days free, billed by the store.
