How it is answered
Yes or no. You tap yes or no, and no is a complete answer. Many of the smallest and most telling moments of a day are either there or not, and a single tap respects that.
When it is asked:A question chosen for tonight because of what you have answered before, what is going on in your life or the pattern that is forming.Depth 1:An easy question that takes a second to answer and asks nothing uncomfortable.
Why Insenia asks this
Joy is asked about as moments rather than a mood. Did you laugh out loud, was there a second you would freeze, did some small thing brighten the day that would normally go unnoticed.
Most of these questions are a tap, yes or no, because the point is to notice, not to rate. A few go further and ask what you would keep from the day if you could keep only one thing.
What it tends to reveal
Two weeks in, the sources of warmth tend to repeat: a conversation, time outside, work that came together, a quiet pause. Many people find the list shorter and more ordinary than they expected, and that is the pattern.
The days with at least ten minutes that were just yours often sit a little higher in the calendar than the days without. Insenia points that out when it holds up in the numbers and otherwise says nothing.
