Why Insenia asks this
Connection is measured about twice a week with a slider that runs from alone in it to connected. The follow up questions are about the people themselves: whose company was warmest, who made you feel seen, when a conversation last filled you up.
This is not a count of contacts. A full room can feel lonely and a single call can carry a whole day, and the question leaves that judgement to the person answering.
What it tends to reveal
After two weeks, days with a real conversation often sit differently in the calendar than days without one. The gap between the two is what Insenia measures, not whether the person is social enough.
Over time the relationships that take up the most space in your head become visible as a list rather than a feeling. For many people that list is shorter and more repetitive than they assumed.
